Day 3...

Another wonderful day (despite a rainy afternoon).....

Tuesday, 9 AM.  The girls had company this morning.  Aunt Dot, Uncle Bill, and Elizabeth came over to play (and help GiGi while Beepa did Meals On Wheels for 1 1/2 hours).  Before they left, Aunt Elaine came over, too.  Good thing!  We had begun to get a little concerned that Julia had not had a BM since Saturday.  Not to worry.  "It came out all right in the end" while Beepa was out delivering, but GiGi had lots of help around to hand her more wipes, etc.

Tuesday, 11 AM.  Because of the weather, we moved the cars out of the garage so the kids had plenty of space to play with their new trikes, the hanging tennis balls (which we lowered), etc.  Made a nice "change of scene" for them.

Tuesday, 1 PM.  Nap time for Julia and quiet time for Katie.  Beepa decided to hang out on the bed with Katie (to keep an eye on the powder, etc.).  Nice idea, except that the next thing Beepa knew was that Katie was whispering in his ear to wake up and finish reading the book to her.

A side note:  Julia has decided that Buppba works better for her than Beepa.

 I love it either way.

Tuesday, 4 PM - We do the "paint with shaving cream" thing in the new "3 Seasons" room.  Made cleaning up easy because we just had to step out the door and get hosed off.  Lots of fun and some great pictures (attached).

Tuesday, 5 PM.  We get the QOTW (Quote of the WEEK).  After Katie got cleaned up from the shaving cream, she looked up at me and said, "Now what's it time for, Beepa?"

GiGi puts out another spectacular dinner - this time hot dogs and beans.  Katie wants to help, so GiGi lets her butter the brown bread and ladle out the food on everyone's plate.  What a good team they make.

Tuesday, 8 PM.  After baths the girls go to bed and are asleep within 10 minutes.  Where did you find two girls like that??
