Day 2...

Here's the rest of the girls Rhode Island adventures from yesterday...

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
When last we left you, Katie was having a semi-quiet time up in our bed.  Well, after about an hour we decided that Julia needed more nap-time than Katie needed quiet-time, so we opened our bedroom door and what to our wondering eyes should appear but a whole container of bath powder all over the floor, our bed, and Katie.  (See picture attached)  Oh well, it wasn't Mommy's lipstick.....
Monday - 3 PM After Julia woke up, Gramp and the girls went to Buttonwoods Park Beach while Gram did the grocery shopping for the next couple of meals.  The beach trip was spectacular - and timely since our weather is supposed to turn cooler tomorrow.  We had brought a couple of large spoons for digging stuff (to throw into the water).  The seagulls were dive-bombing us and each other which made for some excitement.  And Buttonwoods Park has a great playground, too.  Fortunately, Gramp had thought to leave the camera at home, so there was no danger of it getting wet :(
Monday - 6 PM After a great dinner of taters & nuggets (Gram has got a whole new menu), it was bath time.  This time the camera was ready and captured a couple of kids who are definitely not afraid of the water!  (See attached)
Monday - 7 PM We called Mommy to let her and Daddy know that things are going fine.  One thing we discovered is that a speaker phone and two kids just beginning to quiet down are not a good mix.  Hope you understood, Mom.
Tomorrow morning is drawing pictures on the table with shaving cream.  Too bad you can't be here.
Love, Beepa and GiGi
