Workin', workin'

So, these pics are a little outdated now.  Things are moving quickly, and it's hard for me to keep up!  This was right after we had the bedroom spackled, and now Will has all the walls and ceiling painted.  Woohoo!

We've gotten our hardwood floors, the trim for the windows, and plates and covers for the outlets.  Still need to buy the ceiling fan...

Next on the "Honey-Do" is to install the floors and construct the door frame.  For those who don't know, our house is really a log cabin that's been covered up with siding and stucco (built in the early 1800's.  We have a paper saying it was sold some time around 1825 or so -- isn't that crazy?)  Anyway, log cabin means that inside our walls are these huge massive log beams!!  So when Will and his dad cut the door frame, they had to use a chain saw to get through the logs, and will need to build an unusually wide door frame from scratch to cover them up.

We're really hoping these projects will be done by the end of the month.  That leaves us the month of July to get the girls room painted and decorated, bunk beds bought and assembled, and the nursery turned back into a nursery.  There's a lot to do!!

(This chair is my little perch to cheer Will on and keep him company as he works in the evenings.  Thanks for all you do, babe!!)

Love this guy so so so much.
