We were driving to Auntie Ally's house this morning.  All of a sudden, I hear a dramatic sigh from the backseat (as dramatic as 2 & 1/2 year olds can get anyway)...

"What's wrong, Katie-bug?"

"Well... I just reeeeally wish it's my birtday today."

"Oh, yea?  Why?"

"Mom, I just reeeally wanted to have 2 candles today."

"Well, when your birthday comes, you're going to have 3 candles!"

"Ohhhhhh!  Okay!!"

So cute!  I wonder where she gets her dramatic flare from?

Here she is trying to teach me to twist my tongue...
