Each night before bed, the bigs' pick a song to sing, normally ranging from: "Jesus Loves Me", "The Gospel Song", "Amazing Grace" (they have the first 4 verses down!), or "Amazing Love".
Tonight however, we were in for a special treat. Katie asked if she could sing one of her "special songs to the Lord." She often talks about how she sings songs from the words that are in her heart, but is always reluctant to share, so I was pretty excited to hear it!
SO... with no further ado, this is Katie's heart, poured out in song, to God, tonight.
"God made the horsies. They're each made with different seeds. God made the horsies. God made the horsies. Some are made for cowboy horsies. Some are made for cowgirl horsies. Yes, God made the horsies...."
after a moments pause:
"That's just the end, mom."
Oh. Okay.

Katie, you're not only a photographer but quite the singer/composer, too! Just like your Momma!! Pretty soon, mommy & daddy will be able to retire!
